Distal Limb Perfusion
Case History
Yearling Warmblood filly presented at the University of Minnesota April 24th for degloving injury to RH metatarsus.
Initial CT performed at intake on 4/24/23 for wound to the right hind limb.
Wound was found that morning and owner believes occurred sometime in the 24 hours prior.
On presentation, horse was knuckling on RH, but able to bear weight when foot was placed for her.
Edema and sensitivity to palpation around wound, metatarsus, and hock region.
Wound on dorsal aspect of RH metatarsus.
Since then, coronary band edematous and no sensitivity distal to limb.
Contrast CT performed to attempt to evaluate for perfusion to distal limb
